Each year the University of Hong Kong draws scholars from around the world. The following is the cohort of 114 who joined our ranks in the 2025 calendar year (January 1 – December 31, 2025). This year saw the addition of a Nobel Prize-winning physicist, planetary experts, trailblazers in biomedical and social sciences, semiconductors and global creative industries. Together, these professors represent at least 18 nationalities, 40 disciplines, and all career stages.
