Awards are a key component of academic careers and enhance the international profile of our departments, Faculties, and the entire university. The Academic Awards and Recognition team in HKU’s Office of the VP for Academic Development (VPAD) strives to assist Faculties to pursue external honours relevant to their academic staff members at all career stages. The mission of the VPAD team, which works with the VP for Research and the VP for Teaching and Learning as well as senior leadership at the university, is to foster a culture of recognition for the rigorous scholarship that takes place across campus.
